Reading is open to everyone — the terms, the templates, the identity method, the endpoints. Writing — proposing a term, claiming a supplier identity, publishing a declaration — needs a steward key. Apply once; the register remembers who was first.
- Printers
- Describe what you make in the vocabulary: your products as PTPGE templates, your offer as a vendor declaration. Every buyer, marketplace and agent then reads you the same way. Key for: publishing a declaration, registering fingerprints. Pilot: Trykkverk.
- Software
- MIS, web-to-print, marketplaces, agents: implement the vocabulary and the fingerprint. REST, MCP and JSON-LD; validate configurations; compute
ptpge-cfs/1. Key for: proposing the terms you find missing. First implementation: GutenLex. - Paper and substrate makers
- Your identity gets one permanent PTPGE URI; your series and grades live in your own supplier catalogue — a document you publish and keep current, in the vocabulary's words, with your trade names as searchable aliases. A buyer asking for «170 g silk» and an agent asking for your brand reach the same generic term — and your catalogue. The vocabulary itself stays free of company names. Key for: publishing your catalogue.
- Press and equipment makers
- Your identity gets one permanent PTPGE URI; your presses, printers and finishing lines are listed in your supplier catalogue against the generic production technologies, so a printer's capability declaration and a job mean the same thing. Key for: publishing your catalogue.
- Partners
- Industry bodies, consultants, educators: steward a language, a regional rule set, or a crosswalk to a vocabulary you maintain. No key — liaison through the association: post@ptpge.org.
