About Our Organization
History
PTPGE aims to encourage collaboration within the global print and graphic design industry. Conceived as a side project to address the lack of a common industry structure, it began with sketches in 2022 and released its first ‘Visual Taxonomy’ cards as free public resources in June 2024. PTPGE is part of Print.page AS, based in Norway, and is funded by Tangerin AS.

The Configuration Fingerprint
The Configuration Fingerprint (ptpge-cfs/1) — a content-addressed identity for configured goods — was invented by Patrik Knutsson and first published as PTPGE Technical Note No. 1: Content-Addressed Identity for Configured Goods(DOI 10.5281/zenodo.21451593). The specification and reference implementation are open (CC BY 4.0) and maintained on the neutral PTPGE namespace at ptpge.org.
